Updates: Version 1.0.2 out! Get directions to/from selected address | 2/7/08
Right Click + Send The easiest way to send a street address from your browser directly to your iPhone.
While we love the iPhone and its Google Maps application,
we still found ourselves printing directions from Google
when in a hurry. Why? Because there wasn't a fast way to
get that address and map to our iPhones. So, we made iPhoneSender.
Drag the Safari bookmarklet to your bar. Then highlight an address on any web page, and click the bookmarklet in your bar. iPhoneSender prompts you for your email address, then sends you properly formatted Google map link. That's it! Then, check your email on your iPhone and click the link! The iPhoneSender link will launch the Google Map application for you. From there you can get direction, or add it directly to your address book.
Download the Firefox extension. Then highlight an address on any web page, right-click (or control+ click) and select "Send Map Link to iPhone". iPhoneSender prompts you for your email address, then sends you properly formatted Google map link. That's it! Then, check your email on your iPhone and click the link! The iPhoneSender link will launch the Google Map application for you. From there you can get directions, or add it directly to your address book.
These emails are most likely being caught in your Spam Filter. Check there and mark them as 'Not Spam' and that should allow future emails to arrive without issue. This process will be different for each email program.
